Haas hardwood products are ideal for a variety of applications in the furniture and interior decoration industries. Variations in the arrangement of the strips produce a first-class, authentic appearance that meets the most demanding expectations. We manage the entire production process from logs to finished panels to ensure top quality and maximum color uniformity.

Single-ply HAAS hardwood panels made of straight-edged or dovetailed boards are glued flush at the joints. The wood is industrially dried and graded by color before it is used in the production process. The moisture content of the wood is around 10 % when the panels are finished. Water-resistant glue (D3), which contains no formaldehyde, is used in the gluing process. The panels are made of beech (natural or steamed) or oak. The various grades leave room for a wide variety of design options. The standard range is A/B, B/C, A/C, C/D. Other options are available on request.

Description:
A side: no knots or defects; isolated tight knots in colors that blend in well and natural color variation and wood features are acceptable
B side: healthy, tight black knots and some brown or red cores are acceptable, knot repairs or mini spots (patching) up to 30 mm are acceptable.
A small amount of healthy sapwood is acceptable on oak.
C side: red or brown heart wood, knot repairs and mini spots (patching) up to 30 mm are acceptable.
D side: all typical wood defects. |

HAAS single-layer hardwood panels comply with EN 13353-1 / EN 13353-2 and EN 204 / EN 205. They must be stored in enclosed areas with a controlled climate. They must lie completely flat over the entire surface, and they must be covered. A 1% change in wood moisture content results in a dimensional change of about 0.6 %. The panels must be conditioned before further processing is carried out.
