No matter in which country the products of the HAAS Group are produced in, every partner and costumer can rely on one thing: First-class products at an ideal proportion of price and performance.

In 1982 Xaver Haas made the first step towards Europe with production facilities on the european market. In Austria he obtained a production facility in Styria (Großwilfersdorf), to consequently continue the success. From now on an effecitve group of companies was built with the aim to provide everthing the building industry needs by one supplier. In 1988 the orientation of the HAAS Group towards Europe was sustained with HOCO. Xaver Haas founded establishments in England, the Netherlands and in Spain. The aim was to not only win the market by offering a country-specific range of products, but also with local presence. And how today shows with success.

From West to East
The good experiences soon encouraged Xaver Haas to engage in the neighbouring Czech republic. In 1990 he started the production of plastic windows in Decin and he opended a sales agency in Prague.
Only four years later Xaver Haas bought a new company with an own saw mill in Czechia. Now he was able to produce prefab houses, agricultural buildings, industrial functional buildings, roof constructions as well as natural wood panels and more for the Czech market. In 2004 in the midst of the croatian hardwoods a new and efficient location arose: a hardwood saw mill with processing. The majority of wood for parquet flooring, stairs, strips and window scantlings coud be produced by ourselves and the range of products in the hardwood sector coud be completed.
